Situated in San Pablo, California, just a few miles outside San Francisco, Contra Costa College (CCC) is the only higher education institution in the West County area. Established in 1949, CCC serves over 7,000 students annually. Embracing diversity, CCC is proud to be a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), supporting Latinx, Asian, and African-American students.

CCC has earned recognition for its academic and career education programs at local, statewide, and national levels. Recently, the college received its second Title III, part F HSI STEM grant, continuing its mission to support students from under-resourced communities in fields such as science, technology, and math.

Fees and Tuition

  • Tuition for Non-US Citizens and International Students: $346 per unit.
  • Mandatory Health Insurance: $127 per month.

International Students

CCC values diversity and proudly supports Latinx, Asian, and African-American students as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Various programs are available for international students aiming to continue their education at Contra Costa College. The full course of study requirements and online instruction are subject to the approval of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).

Application Process

  1. Complete the CCC International Student Application
  2. Pay the Application Fee: $50
  3. Email the Following Documents:
    • Copy of current passport
    • Proof of English language proficiency
    • Financial support documents
    • Financial sponsor form
    • English proficiency test scores
    • Secondary or post-secondary academic records
    • General Educational Development (GED) Test scores

Scholarships

Contra Costa College encourages all students to apply for various scholarship opportunities to help with educational expenses. These scholarships are funded by the CCC Foundation, alumni, community groups, local businesses, and other private donors.

Types of Scholarships at CCC:

  • Contra Costa College Foundation Scholarships: 67 different scholarships.
  • Kennedy-King Scholarship: $5,000 per year.
  • External Scholarships: Funded by donors, organizations, businesses, and foundations outside of the Contra Costa College Foundation.
