Northern Lights College (NLC), recognized as British Columbia's Energy College™, has been illuminating the path to success for students since its founding in 1975. Serving the northern region of BC, NLC not only produces graduates who become professionals deeply engaged in their communities but also maintains campuses in Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Tumbler Ridge, and access centers in Atlin, Dease Lake, and Hudson's Hope. It proudly affiliates with British Columbia Colleges (BC Colleges), emphasizing its role in regional educational development.

At NLC, the educational approach is designed to blend practical experience with necessary classroom learning, ensuring students are well-prepared for professional environments. The college offers a diverse array of programs that cater to different academic and career ambitions, including certificates, associate degrees, and diplomas. The duration of these programs varies from one to two years, depending on the specific path and level of study chosen. Furthermore, NLC facilitates seamless academic progression through partnerships with other B.C. colleges and universities, allowing students to transfer credits directly and pursue further education or degrees at other institutions.
