International Admission

Steps to Apply:

  • Secure the English language requirement 
  • IELTS - Academic 6.0 overall, at least 5.5 in listening and reading and 6.0 in writing and speaking
  • TOEFL iBT - 79 overall, at least 18 in reading, 23 in writing, 19 in listening and speaking
  • PTE-A 55 overall, at least 55 in writing and speaking and 51 in listening and reading
  • DET - 105 overall, at least 95 in literacy, comprehension, conversation and production
  • Provide an international educational assessment by ICES, WES or RRU
  • Check the guidelines for specific countries and submit the requirements
  • Pay the application fee of $ 131.39 and wait for the acceptance letter

International Students' Fees and Awards

Tuition Fees:

  • Deposit: $5,000 for international students
  • Bachelor’s Degree: At least $44,125
  • Graduate Certificate: $8,845 - $10,090
  • Graduate Diploma: Minimum of $17,334

Scholarships and Awards:

Scholarship for Outstanding Children of International Alumni:

  • Eligibility: Children of alumni from RRU programs delivered in Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, or Taiwan
  • Amount: $2,000

Royal Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: Outstanding international students from China and Taiwan
  • Amount: $3,000
  • Application Requirement: One-page essay discussing plans to create global linkages between Canada and Asia

Student Emergency Financial Assistance:

  • RRU Student Association Bursary:
    • Amount: $2,000
    • Eligibility: Students with reasonable but critical financial needs in programs related to environment and sustainability, tourism and hospitality management, humanitarian studies, communication and culture, and business
