There are currently linkage institutions with Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Costa Rica, Eastern Europe, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, and West Africa. These institutions award out-of-state tuition waivers to qualified citizens of their corresponding country; hence it is possible for international students to pay the same tuition rates as Florida-based students. As of 2020’s projected costs from UCF, this would entail international students paying approximately USD $18,000 instead of approximately USD $34,000 for one academic year.

Also overseen by UCF Global is the Intensive English Program (IEP). The program is designed to give students impactful in-person instruction to helps students improve their overall English proficiency, and better prepare students for earning an undergraduate or graduate degree with UCF – including the provision of IELTS or TOEFL waivers, as per UCF’s entry requirements.
