The Center of Student Involvement administers a variety of fun events and activities to students including fairs, weekend movies, off-campus trips, games and more. If you are looking to join a club, the university has a long list that caters to a variety of interests. Opportunities to lead through the Student Government, as well as volunteering opportunities are always available.

 

1. Bask in Arts and Culture, or join the Athletics

The university is big on the arts and culture scene. With on-campus performances, the university gallery, radio, students can explore their creative side including students who are non-Art majors. Similarly, the university has a recreational facility for casual sports and play. However, for high-performance athletes, Montclair also has a solid athletics team participating in various collegiate leagues across the US.

 

2. Your overall well-being at the top priority

Juggling studies, extra-curricular, and the emotional side of being away from family can be tough. The university offers several programs to support the overall well-being of the students. From the comprehensive University Health Center, to seminars carried out by Health Promotions, to a fully certified Montclair University Police Department, and the many resources and programs of the Counseling and Psychological Services – Montclair has your overall well-being in mind.
